and how am I to believe
that you

will always, unconditionally love me?

it seems to me
to be
a little far fetched
and idealistic
for millions upon millions of people
to follow your dogma

who's to say your religion is any better?
with followers who resort to hate
and murder
and war

i'm not quite sure they got your message
they're killing in your name
savior
they're accepting no blame
for their behavior

and you remain motionless
all the same
if truly
you are
the son of god
why could you not see this happening?

your followers are no more than a cult
as they proclaim their leader:

i refuse to believe this is the right choice
that yours are the values to follow

and it shocks me
that while millions upon millions
are starving
are tortured
are killed
you continue the mantra

"i died for your sins."

Then what are we dying for?
