some people it seems are stupid on purpose. they find solace in the fact that they can fall back on the same tired cliches and rhetoric and that will be enough for them to get by.
you have to be really ignorant to think the words you're saying are the truth. not even the most forgiving of the gods relieve you of this kind of sin. gods arms open wide for those that deserve it. spitting out passages and not knowing the meaning does not make you any more pious/righteous than anyone. martyr anyone you want but it doesn't make their selfishness anymore the obvious and it doesn't make their death any less the worthwhile.
